Fun lovers come together at Pizza Sunday, an event held every Sunday at Katlamping section in Tembisa. The event caters music lovers and hangout friends to refresh from weekday stress. This event usually takes place at The Weekend Chill Spot. The event also includes Street Food Market which brings stalls with different food lifestyles that are not found in the township as part of the entertainment.

You can tell by reviews and comments from its attendees that they enjoy being at the event. Lindokuhle Dlamini’s comment was that it is a perfect venue with good looking people.

People from Tembisa seem to be blessed for such an event which brings locals for locals. Not everything is always great, Kgomotso Motswane’s review was that the service was poor and slow, for the second week in a row she experienced the same service.

I think the mastermind of the event is intelligent. The setting and sense of humour you get from the stuff makes you want to stay for the rest of your life.Pizza Sunday has a great vibe, nice food, fashion, and all sorts of people with different characters. The music is South African and seeing musicians performing live “Wow!”, it blows moods, the atmosphere, and the environment. You’d wish Sunday was forever.

Not everything is godly, even the bible argues itself. I think Pizza Sunday should consider bringing a mix of famous and upcoming artists. South African townships are full of unrecognised talent which can be uplifted by such events. Midnights are dangerous. If I was the sponsor I’d delay the event till morning, to avoid drinking and driving, hijacking and putting people's safety in a vulnerable position.
